‘Breaking Dawn’ Bella’s Not Looking So Good as Her Baby Bump Gets Bigger

First things first: Are you sitting down? Great, because we just got our hands on an exclusive new clip from "Breaking Dawn: Part 1," featuring Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli), and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner).

The 15-second theatrical trailer preview opens with some familiar snippets: Bella finds out that she's pregnant, and the baby is quite the kicker.

The following scene is where the never-seen-before footage begins. We're back in Forks, Washington, and a worried Carlisle informs Bella that "the fetus is too strong and fast growing." Anyone who has read the "Breaking Dawn" novel knows what's coming next is not going to be a pretty sight, as evident in the quick cut to what the unusual pregnancy has done to Bella. In place of a mother-to-be glow, her complexion is pale and sickly, and the bags under her eyes indicate she's had very little rest since discovering she's pregnant. Edward tells Bella, "It's crushing you from the inside out." No wonder the poor girl looks completely miserable and distraught; that baby -- who's only getting bigger and bigger -- is literally killing her!

The Cullens aren't the only ones worried about Bella. Jacob and the rest of the wolfpack have found out that Bella's in trouble, and they're determined to rescue her from the vampires before she becomes one. "Get ready, we're coming for Bella," warns Jacob. But Edward isn't about to let the wolves take the mother of his unborn half-human, half-vampire child away that easily. "You're not going to touch her," he says. We hear werewolf growls and the clip ends with a standoff between the werewolves and the vampires. Once again, the fight over Bella continues.

Sony Shows Wearable 3-D Personal Theater

Sony is launching a head mounted display that provides a three dimensional theater of music videos, movies and games.

Sony Corp. showed the 60,000 yen ($800) "HMZ personal 3-D viewer" Wednesday. The machine is set to go on sale Nov. 11 in Japan, and is planned for the U.S. and Europe, perhaps in time for Christmas, although dates have not yet been set.

Resembling a futuristic visor, HMZ, which stands for "head mounted display," is worn like chunky goggles-and-earphones in one. The footage before the viewer — a music video of a Japanese singer in the demonstration for reporters in Tokyo — is crystal-clear and feels like peering into a dolls house in which a real-life tiny singer is moving.

Marilyn attracts smiles, scorn and skirt chasers

A 26-foot-tall sculpture of Marilyn Monroe in her most famous pose was unveiled on Chicago's now-truly Magnificent Mile Friday morning.

The Marilyn Monroe that now stands tall on Michigan Avenue, her head high enough to see passing boats on the Chicago River, is fortunate to be all aluminum and stainless steel, unable to read the nasty things being written about her.

Passers-by wasted little time positioning themselves under her billowing skirt to get a subway-grate view of Monroe in the same stance as she appeared in "The Seven Year Itch."

The area is known for unusual public art displays. Years ago, Michigan Avenue was lined with fiberglass cows.

And in the same plaza where the Monroe statue now stands, another sculpture by the same artist, Seward Johnson, was put up: a tribute to the farmer and daughter of Grant Wood's "American Gothic" fame.

The Marilyn Monroe statue will stand until next spring.

First Look of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises

Meow! In The Dark Knight Rises, the next installment in the Batman franchise you can see Anne Hathaway as Catwoman , and here the first promo image of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.

The 28-year-old actress joins veterans Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine in the Christopher Nolan-direction action flick.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story," Nolan said in January.

Though Hathaway hasn't revealed much about her role ("I signed a blood oath," she says), the actress is looking forward to portraying the iconic D.C. Comics character.

"I want to be the best actress I can be and that means working with the best people and taking the most challenging roles," Hathaway tells Total Film. "That's the plan and so far it's led to some really exciting places."

Catwoman was first played by actress Julie Newmar (now 77) in the 1966 Batman TV series; Eartha Kitt took over the role in the show's third season. The feline vixen was last played by Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992's Batman Returns. (Halle Berry starred in the 2004 flop Catwoman; the heroine's alter-ego was renamed Patience Phillips.)

MTV doesn't Celebrate its 30th Birthday

MTV bizarrely refused to celebrate its own 30th birthday, and just treated it like any other day.

"MTV as a brand doesn't age with our viewers," explained Nathaniel Brown, senior vice president of communications for MTV, who confirmed that there were no plans for an on-air MTV celebration. "We are really focused on our current viewers, and our feeling was that our anniversary wasn't something that would be meaningful to them, many of whom weren't even alive in 1981."

While the point is is well taken, it doesn't seem like MTV has much issue with NINETIES nostalgia (as evidenced by the network's recent "120 Minutes" and "Beavis & Butt-Head" revivals). So even a tribute to MTV's later shows ("Club MTV," "Headbanger's Ball,"

"Yo! MTV Raps," "Unplugged," "The Week In Music" with the impeccably smarmy Kurt Loder) could have provided enough fodder for a month-long celebration of MTV's genuine importance in youth culture (and would have been a welcome reminder that the "M" in "MTV" used to stand for "music").

To Amy Winehouse's family, the singer/songwriter's death was not unexpected. It was "only a matter of time," her mother, Janis Winehouse, was quoted as saying in the Sunday Mirror. She'd visited her daughter the day before she died, and said, "She seemed out of it. But her passing still hasn't hit me."

She said their final encounter had ended with the weakened Amy saying "I love you, mum." "Those are the words I will always treasure," Janis said. "I'm glad I saw her when I did."

Father Mitch Winehouse had been in New York preparing to do a series of showcases for his new jazz album. He canceled the shows and was seen at JFK a few hours after the news hit. "I'm completely devastated," he was reported as saying. "I'm coming home. I have to be with Amy. I can't crack up, for her sake. My family needs me."

Mitch Winehouse had been vocal in the past—too vocal, for Amy's tastes—about his daughter's substance abuse. As far back as three years ago, he was raising the specter of her possible demise when he publicly revealed that she was suffering from emphysema. "Doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs, it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her," he was quoted as saying in 2008, while issuing an ultimatum to drug dealers to stay away.

Rihanna Is The New Queen Of Facebook, Beating Out Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga may be the top earning woman in music, have more followers on Twitter than any other lady rock star and receive more media coverage than her female competitors, but she is no longer the queen of Facebook.

This week, Rihanna accumulated enough likes on Facebook to surpass Lady Gaga and claim the throne as the platform's top ranking female celebrity.

According to their Facebook stats, as of Saturday, Rihanna had 40,699,853 likes, and Lady Gaga had 40,611,908, giving the "Rude Boy" singer a lead of 88,000.

Shakira is the diva with the third most Facebook followers, according to Famecount.com, which credits the Latina singer with 37 million likes. Aside from being the top three female musicians on Facebook, they also have earned spots in Facebook's top 10 pages overall. Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Shakira hold the No. 5, 6, and 8, positions, respectively.

Mila Kunis is reporting for duty!

Mila Kunis Accepts Marine's Invite to Corps Ball, this took place When Sgt. Scott Moore posted a YouTube video last week inviting the Black Swan actress to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball on Nov. 18, it probably seemed like a long shot. But at the urging of her Friends With Benefits costar, Justin Timberlake, Kunis agreed to head to Greenville, North Carolina to be Moore's date!

In his video, Moore addressed the actress directly from Afghanistan. "Hi Mila, I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball with yours truly," he said. "So take a second to think about it, and get back to me."

When FOX411 asked the actress if she knew about the invitation, Timberlake, 30, made certain that Kunis would go. "Have you seen this? Have you heard about this?" he asked her. "You need to do it for your country!"

These days that means mastering social media. Lady Gaga topples Oprah Winfrey from her No.1 spot on our list, which she's given up for only the third time in seven years.

Gaga is there not just because of the $90 million she earned with a monster tour, but also because of her 32 million Facebook fans and 9.5 million Twitter followers -- aka Little Monsters -- who helped move 1 million digital downloads of her recent single "Born This Way" in only five days. They're also happy to buy the MAC makeup, Monster headphones, and Virgin Mobile phones she features in her videos.

Oprah doesn't fall far though. The daytime talk maven, who earned $290 million last year, comes in second. Winfrey's earnings sank $25 million partially due to a reduced payday at SiriusXM. She still earns big from her syndicated show and from the stars she's spawned, including Dr. Phil (No. 18) Rachael Ray, and Dr. Oz. Winfrey's earning power will take a bigger hit next year, when her syndicated show ends and she concentrates all her efforts on the struggling OWN network.

Maybe it would help if Oprah took a lesson from No. 3 Justin Bieber. The Biebs debuts on our list at the tender young age of 17, with $53 million earned over the last 12 months thanks to concerts, music sales, and a 3-D documentary movie that grossed $100 million at the global box office. If this were 10 years ago Bieber would still be paying his dues in small clubs and schools, but thanks to the Internet, he's a sensation. His first hit song, "Baby," has been viewed 500 million times, a YouTube record.

Exercises That Make You Look Taller

Here's something about the way dancers carry themselves that makes them look a little bit taller, even if they're on the shorter side of the spectrum! Here are 3 exercises from Halzack that might make you look like you've grown an inch or two:

1. Downward Dog

Downward Dog is a great yoga exercise that both strengthens and lengthens. To achieve the position correctly, straighten the legs to your personal limit, send your tailbone to the ceiling and pull the lats down (via the shoulder blades). Do a deep inhale, then exhale. Repeat the breath 8 times and relax. Resume the posture at least 2 more times without letting your head drop or your back arch. Keep your head on your spine, making your spine one long line.

2. Getting Your Back on Track

This one is more of a stretch. Interlace your fingers behind your neck and slowly roll down as if you're pulling your head down to your toes, taking it as far as you can go. Hang there for 4-5 breaths. Take your middle finger and pointer on each hand and wrap them around your big toe to pull yourself closer to your toes -- this is a great hamstring stretch. Once you get to the bottom of that stretch, pull your back toward the ceiling as you pull your head to the floor. This is an amazing stretch in the sacrum and lower spine. Use your abs to push the lower spine toward the ceiling, and repeat up to 3 times.

3. No Time Spine Align

Take a 2.5 lb weight or a very heavy book and balance it on the crown of your head. Think of the weight pushing down into the top of your skull. Keep the energy in your neck going up, letting the neck get as long as possible -- hold it for about a minute. You feel like you get a little taller standing there in this meditative state. Let your shoulders drop and concentrate on your breath. Hold for at least minute. You'll be left with a sense of height and length in the neck and spine.

Pop sensation Justin Bieber meets wax double

London - Teenage pop sensation Justin Bieber took time out from touring on Tuesday to visit the Madame Tussauds museum in London and pose next to a waxwork model of himself.

The model, dressed in a a red and black checked shirt and black jeans, was one of three Bieber replicas being unveiled -- the others were in Amsterdam and New York.

"It`s pretty incredible to see," said the 17-year-old, before joking about how small the waxwork was. "As you can see, you know, I`m at least six feet taller than this guy."

Liz Edwards, spokeswoman for the museum, said the real Bieber would naturally change quickly over the eight months it took to create the life-like model.

"So we really wanted to make sure we made a `moment in time` figure," she said. "But it`s the hair that everyone is paying the biggest attention to. So, I`d say it`s the hair that`s been the biggest challenge."

The singer, already one of the world`s biggest pop stars with albums "My World" and My World 2.0", was accompanied to the event by his mother, and he greeted a small crowd of fans.

He said that he would ideally like his waxwork figure to stand next to U.S. rapper Tupac Shakur.

"Biebermania" has hit Britain during his visit, with hundreds of screaming fans crowding outside his hotel in the northern city of Liverpool last week forcing police to close down the area.

Adrianne Palicki Lands the Lead in NBC's 'Wonder Woman' New Serial

The world hasn't seen a live-action Wonder Woman since Lynda Carter played her in the '70s TV series, but since then, many young actresses' names have been floated for the role.

For the "Wonder Woman" pilot, prolific TV producer David E. Kelley helming for NBC, he's already made one move that has been met with near-unanimous approval: Adrianne Palicki has been cast to play the titular super-heroine.

Palicki is probably still best known for her role as Tyra Collette for the first three seasons of NBC/DirecTV's "Friday Night Lights." Here she is opposite Landry (Jesse Plemons) in a memorable moment from the Season 1 episode "Mud Bowl."

But if fans of that show might respond that her co-star Minka Kelly is a closer physical fit, with her long, dark hair, than Palicki (who played Tyra with a blonde bob), it may be because they didn't see Palicki as a brunette in Fox's short-lived "Lone Star." And as ComicsAlliance.com notes, at 5'11" Palicki also has the physical stature necessary to play the athletic descendant of Amazons.

Pop Ladies dominate at Grammy Awards

Country trio Lady Antebellum and pop star Lady Gaga were among the winners at the most prestigious ceremony in the music calendar, the Grammy Awards.

Lady Antebellum won five prizes, including song of the year and record of the year for their hit Need You Now.

Lady Gaga, who was carried down the Los Angeles event's red carpet in a giant egg, won three awards including best pop vocal album for The Fame Monster.

In other categories, Rihanna's Only Girl in the World was named best dance recording and US rock duo The Black Keys picked up best alternative album for their sixth release, Brothers, beating Vampire Weekend and Arcade Fire.

The ceremony at the Staples Center featured a string of flamboyant, star-studded performances and collaborations.

The show began with a tribute to soul queen Aretha Franklin, who is recovering from an operation. The song was performed by Christina Aguilera, Florence and the Machine's Florence Welch, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams.

Lady Gaga then emerged from her egg-shaped cocoon to take to the stage to perform her new single Born This Way.

On Monday, an Indonesian court jailed one of Southeast Asia’s biggest singer, a rock stars for more than three years after sex tapes of him with two television celebrities appeared online.

The sentence drew howls of outrage from singer Nazril Ariel’s fans in the court and across the Malay-speaking world, while the “freeariel” hashtag shot to the top list of global trending topics on microblogging site Twitter.

Judges say an Indonesian pop star who rocked this predominantly Muslim nation after making several homemade sex tapes will spend the next 3 1/2 years in jail. Nazril “Ariel” Irham, lead singer of the band Peterpan, was found guilty Monday of violating the country’s strict anti-pornography law.

What is so special about NBA Jordan's dinner table?

Michael Jordan has been criticized for either spending his money poorly, as owner and personnel chief of the Charlotte Bobcats, or for not spending any money at all.
Charlotte made the postseason last year due to Jordan's moves, but facing an outsized payroll in a small market, he pulled back during the offseason, and the Bobcats are spiraling back toward the lottery.

Maybe, partially, because Jordan spent a good chunk a change on one of the cooler dinner tables we've ever seen.

James Bond will return in 2012

James Bond will return to the big screen in November 2012. The reasons for the delay have to do with a lot of boring corporate restructuring business, but what really matters is that Daniel Craig will play Bond again.

He is the lone reason anyone still cares about the Bond franchise which appeared dead at the beginning of the decade.

The exact date for the film's release will be November 9, 2012, and it's impressive that they have a release date considering they don't have a cast outside of Craig. Sam Mendes, whose directorial star has dimmed since he was initially signed on for this project, will direct, and the script is apparently in place and has in fact been ready for about two years.

We hope they update it: We wouldn't want it to include lines like "Yes, Bond, you'll survive my trap only when a black man is elected President. You're doomed!"

Could Miss Delaware Kayla Martell Be the First Bald Miss America?

Kayla Martell is stunning: with her perfect body, her pearly wide smile and what looks like a full set of blonde hair, she’s definitely beauty pageant material. As it happens, Kayla is bald – and she may just compete in Miss America without a wig.

Speaking with ABC just recently, Kayla underlined the desire to prove that beauty is more than just the attributes at first glance she seems to have, the blonde hair included.

She’s dreamed of becoming Miss America since she was 3, she says for the media outlet for the Conversations segment, and, at 10, when she started losing her hair, she decided she would not let that stand in her way.

Kayla, Miss Delaware, has a condition called alopecia areata, which, as she explains in the video below, means more or less that her body is “allergic” to hair.

To compete in beauty pageants, she shaves it all off and then puts on a wig. In real life, though, she hardly wears one because she’s not afraid to believe that she’s just as gorgeous without hair as she is with it.

Producer Answers ‘Breaking Dawn'

The countdown on the final two “Twilight” movies has begun: part 1 of “Breaking Dawn” is out in November 2011, while part 2 comes out one year later. As they’re now shooting back to back, producer Wyck Godfrey sits down with USA Today for a Q&A on the most burning issues about the two films.

As any respectable Twi-hard must know after reading Stephenie Meyer’s original novels, the final book, “Breaking Dawn,” which will be released as two films, sees a change in pace as compared to the previous 3.

Not only will there be lovemaking and a very painful pregnancy, but also an even more painful birth, death and a new vampire confrontation. In other words, the stakes are very high for the film to deliver.

There are several issues to keep in mind when dealing with such topics in front of the camera, Godfrey says, but neither “Breaking Dawn” film will go the way of an R-rating to present them graphically.

Instead, they will use the same “trick” as in the book to show the scenes that could prove too difficult for the viewers and, implicitly, for the MPAA members: show everything from Bella’s perspective.

“We basically want to take the audience through the emotional part of Bella’s journey as she becomes a vampire. The first part will cover the wedding, the honeymoon and the birth,” the producer says.

As such, the film will stick to the PG-13 rating the other 3 installments also had. Fans can breathe easy, they will still be of age to see it in theaters.
