Windows 7 Ready to exceed Vista, XP Still the Most Popular

Windows 7Performance of Microsoft Windows 7 operating system on the market so far kept rocketing. According to statistics news from Net Applications, Windows 7 now has scooped 10 per cent share of the operating system market.

The achievement was made more quickly than its predecessor, Windows Vista which took 16 months to do the same.

Overall, the Windows operating system in various versions are still very dominant, driven 91.6 percent market share.

As quoted from Afterdawn, Windows XP still remains the most popular Microsoft operating systems because it has a 64.5 percent market share, while Windows Vista portion is 16 percent.

Vista's performance continues to deteriorate. Vista's market share declined for 5 consecutive months and is predicted to only be have less than 10 percent by the end of this year 2010. Windows 7 is expected would win Vista market share at the end of next May.
