Lindsay Lohan Engaged to Samantha Ronson

Lindsay Lohan Engaged to Samantha RonsonLindsay Lohan is engaged to her on-off flame DJ Samatha Ronson, the sister of the famous music producer Mark Ronson. The pair seems to have reconciled over the past week, when Lindsay’s persistent efforts to get Sam to speak with her finally paid off. Both stars were seen together at Heathrow airport in London en route to Los Angeles, and Lindsay was sporting what looked like an engagement ring on her finger, the Daily Mail says.

Lindsay and Sam’s relationship proved to be a genuine tabloid fodder in its final stages, as it turned out that the actress was too possessive, while the latter’s family did not approve of what they labeled a “destructive” relationship. It was the Ronson family who eventually had the final say in the matter, when Lohan was literally thrown to the curb and denied all kind of access to Samantha. Ever since then, she has been following the DJ all over, in a bid to get her to speak to her, with each near miss closely documented by the paparazzi.

In London, she seems to have finally achieved her goal, as the British media is saying that not only have the two reconciled, but are also engaged – or committed in some form or another to each other. Lindsay herself dropped a few hints in this sense on her Twitter page, saying she was finally back again with someone she held very dear, and promising an exciting announcement to come, which has prompted speculation of the couple deciding to make everything official.

“Leaving London but with my favorite favorite!!!-travel buddy&great news to share!! Maybe.... ;)” Lindsay wrote on Twitter. Samantha too has confirmed via the Internet that things between her and the actress have changed since last time they met face to face, getting her status on Facebook from “Single” to “It’s complicated,” and then listing Lohan as her number one friend on MySpace.

Although initial reports had it that being together did more harm to the two women than spending time apart, and with members of both camps saying nothing better could have happened than calling it quits, word in the industry is that everyone is now thrilled about the engagement and the upcoming announcement. Should this report be accurate, then a statement will probably be released anytime now, so keep an eye on this space for when it does.
